This longer post saddle was perfect. Not only he can comfortably ride the bike now but the saddle has an extra inch for him to grow.The finish of the saddle was identical to the original one in the Strider bike. Works great, This review is from: Strider 22.2 Running Bike Saddle: 305mm Post; Black (Sports) When we originally bought the Strider bike, we didn't think we would need this for my 4, almost 5 year old. He really struggled with balancing on a normal bike so we thought Strider would be perfect. He wasn't fond of riding it with the shorter seat post. His feet really dragged on the ground. So we ordered the taller seat and it has made a whole world of a difference. Our son is really getting the hang of balancing on the bike, which he couldn't do with the shorter post. If you are getting the Strider bike for an older child, please get the longer seat post! |
