The helmet is a great fit (my son is 2 with "average" head size)and he loves it because Elmo is the center of our universe - but the pads provided on the inside of the helmet for comfort rip his hair out when he takes the helmet off. The sides of the pads have too much adhesive or something - I had to take them all out, remove the adhesive and reattach. A toddler is defined as a child from 1 to 4, thus I bought this helmet for my 14 month-old believing that it had an adjustable mechanism to make it fit in such range of head sizes ("True Fit feature offers simple, custom sizing every time..").However, after I opened it and saw that it wobbled on his head I realized that the package said 3+. Whatever happened to toddlers between 1 and 3 ??? The description should SPECIFY THAT IT'S FOR AGES 3 AND UP!!! (I'm asking for my money back) btw, the helmet looks nice and sturdy. It looks like a good helmet if your kid is 3 and up. |
